Curious about Buddhism, but not sure where to start?

This introductory course offers an opportunity to explore some of the Buddha’s teachings and discover how they might connect with your own life.

During this 6 week course we’ll explore:

🧘 Meditation and mindfulness

🌱 The Buddha’s life and the journey towards awakening

🔗 Interconnectedness and conditionality

💚 Loving-kindness and developing positive intentions

🧭 Buddhist ethics

✨ What Buddhism might have to say about living with greater awareness, freedom and compassion

There’ll be plenty of opportunities to try meditation, ask questions, discuss your own experience and explore these ideas with others. No previous experience of Buddhism or meditation is needed.

Rather than simply learning about Buddhism, we’ll be asking what happens when we actually try some of these practices and ideas for ourselves.

Open to anyone over the age of 18.

A non-refundable deposit of £25 is required to book your place in addition to a suggested donation of £65/£35 payable at the centre.
