Wondering whether all those optional sewing machine feet are really worth having? In this hands-on workshop, you'll discover exactly what they do and when to use them.

You'll have the opportunity to try a variety of specialist feet, including beading, pintuck, appliqué, open toe, piping, and many more. Each foot is designed for a specific purpose, helping you achieve a professional-looking finish on your sewing projects.

Throughout the class, you'll receive clear written instructions and practical guidance on how to get the best results with each foot. By the end of the workshop, you'll take home a beautiful stitched sampler showcasing all the different techniques you've learned, along with the confidence to use these specialist feet in your own projects.

Once you've experienced how much easier they make sewing, you'll wonder how you ever managed without them!

All materials will be provided

Janome sewing machines will be provided on the day along with a hot drink. You will also receive a 10% discount card to use in-store.

I am passionate about sewing and crafting.

I have been involved with sewing and dressmaking for all of my working life and nothing gives me greater pleasure than passing on my knowledge to people who want to learn to sew. I enjoy sewing, dressmaking, all types of craft and especially machine embroidery.

I have been working at the Abakhan store in Shrewsbury since it opened its doors in 2018.
