Wildly original, gloriously unpredictable, and impossible to pigeonhole, Mik Artistik’s Ego Trip are one of the UK’s most beloved underground live acts. For many years they were a Glastonbury tradition, drawing crowds who wouldn’t dream of starting their festival without witnessing Mik’s riotous sets at the Croissant Neuf Bandstand or the Rocket Lounge—performances that have become part of Glastonbury folklore.

This unique performance energy is powered by the razor-sharp musicianship of Jonny Flockton and a rotating cast of superb bass players, weaving together rock, soul, funk, cosmic country, and DIY punk spirit into a sound entirely their own. Their fan base spans generations—anyone who loves clever lyrics, fearless live performance, and gigs that feel alive. Champions at BBC 6Music, they’ve earned high praise from Tom Robinson, Chris Hawkins and Gideon Coe, who called them “the best live band I’ve seen all summer.”
