An evening of song and light

Following the spectacular success of last year's concert, Sligo Orpheus Choir is delighted to present another magical evening of Christmas music, joined by our very special guests, Sligo Concert Band.

Join us for a wonderful evening in the beautiful candlelit surroundings of St John's Cathedral to celebrate the Christmas season of cheer!

Expect an exciting programme featuring beautiful solo performances from our choral singers, the magnificent and energetic sounds of the wind and brass sections of Sligo Concert Band, glorious descant echoing from the cathedral rafters and the wonderful accompaniment of the Cathedral Organ. All woven together with much-loved Christmas carols and festive favourites to get you truly into the Christmas spirit!

Under the direction of our award-winning Musical Director and Conductor, Ciara Murphy, this promises to be an unforgettable celebration of music, community and Christmas.

Gather your family and friends and join us for an evening of wonderful music, festive magic and Christmas cheer. Join in the singing and wear your Christmas hats!

We look forward to welcoming you!
