Hi everyone,

You’re welcome to join us on Saturday 24/10 for a hike around 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮. 🏞️ It’s one of the most iconic hikes around Sligo, with beautiful scenery at the top, and legend says that Queen Maeve is buried there. 👑✨️

The loop takes us through woodland and open mountain terrain, with beautiful views over Sligo Bay and the surrounding countryside. 💚

The most challenging part will be the stairs leading to the top of Knocknarea. We’ll take regular breaks during the climb to make the hike enjoyable for all levels. 💪✨️

Everyone is welcome to join us to enjoy some fresh air and meet new people. 🙋🏻‍♀️

We’ll take our time and take a few breaks along the way. At the end of the walk, we can relax and enjoy a coffee together. ☕️

🚌 If you’re coming by bus, you can take the S2 and get off at the Dorrin’s Strand stop.

Please be punctual, so we can have a smooth start and you don’t get left behind at the walk ✨️

Bring comfortable clothes and walking shoes, as well as water and snacks. 🥪
