A joint CIOB and IOSH event providing a practical introduction to carbon reporting, disclosure requirements and Net Zero planning. Please note: this event is for over 18’s only. As carbon reporting becomes a growing requirement across the construction industry, many organisations are being asked to provide emissions data for tenders, client questionnaires and supply chain assessments. This joint CIOB and IOSH event brings together construction and health and safety professionals to explore carbon reporting and Net Zero planning. Through a practical, jargon-free session, attendees will gain an understanding of key reporting requirements, industry frameworks and best practice, helping them respond confidently to increasing client and stakeholder expectations. Topics covered: Why businesses are being asked for carbon data Key reporting frameworks and standards, including ISO 14001, ISO 14064, EcoVadis, SBTi, PAS 2080 and Carbon Reduction Plans Common reporting mistakes and how to avoid them Turning carbon data into meaningful reduction plans Developing a credible route to Net Zero The session will also feature a real-world construction case study, demonstrating how an organisation measured its Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and developed a Net Zero roadmap. Guest Speaker Aimée Tennant, Co-Founder of Seedling Aimée helps organisations measure emissions, meet reporting requirements and develop practical routes to Net Zero.
