Session 1: life drawing - flowers (a drawing and watercolour painting class)

Welcome to the first session of “sketch & sip”! This event is designed to be a fun way of engaging with art (and an opportunity to have a few drinks with friends!). Whether you are a well seasoned artist, a dabbler in creativity or just starting out, this class is designed for all abilities, so everyone is welcome.

In this first session we will be working on drawing and painting from life. This means we will be using the environment and what is around you as reference, and creating art from still life scenes. The session is not about making a “finished masterpiece” to hang on your wall, but it will more so focus on teaching the fundamentals of art and giving you the ability to go out and create in your own time.

If this sounds appealing to you, then feel welcome to sign up. There is a small fee of £16.96 per person to cover supplies. Another important thing to note is drinks are not included and can be purchased from the bar in the dancing man brewery. Please do not bring your own drinks.
