Come along and join the WalkTogether Eastleigh team for a wonderful strole through Stoke Park Woods.

Description

The WalkTogether team have various walks across Eastleigh Borough, some running for many years! Come along and join the friendly team, enjoy the woods and maybe meet some new friends. The walk usually gets divided into a slower and faster group, the walk leaders will advise you on the day which is best for you.

How will the walk work?

The walk will take around 1hr to complete and will be a led walk.

There are no toilets on the site.

By bus: Bluestar no. 2 bus stops on Stoke Park road 200m from the walk meet up point.

By car: There is free parking next to the meet point or along Stoke Park Road.

At the meeting point you’ll be met by the walk leaders who’ll give you a short briefing before the walk begins.

The walk goes through the woods and some of the surface is uneven, off camber with obstacles such as tree stumps. The ground can also become muddy weather depending! So a pair of grippy lace up shoes or walking boots advised.

Sorry pets are not allowed to join a led walk unless they are an assistance dog.

Child friendly: Yes, but must be accompanied by an adult. Due to the terrain pushchairs are not advised.
