'The Blanket Fort' is a comedy event focused on creating an imaginary world and engaging in interactive performances with multiple participants. It will occur on 29 October 2026 at St Denys Boat Club.
Not just standing and talking - we will practise enriching the stage as an imaginary world, and playing with 3 or more people at a time.
In real life we often have interactions with 3 people, 4 or more - but in improvised scenes it can get chaotic. In this session we will try out different types of scene with multiple characters. At the same time, we'll explore how to discover and explore wherever the scene is taking place.
This is a one-off workshop and is open to beginners as well as more experienced performers. You'll be welcomed, and the exercises will all be fine for first-timers! There's no audience, no judgement: just creative, sociable play.
