Thursday 22nd October - Workshop - Get Started Safely: From AI Idea to Governed Use with Simon Owen, Microsoft MVP.

A practical workshop for teams who need a safer, clearer route from AI idea to governed use. Participants will work through intake, risk sizing, controls, living governance, evidence and response to create a draft safe-adoption plan.

Many organisations are moving quickly with Copilot, agents and AI-enabled business solutions. The challenge is not just configuring the technology. It is creating a safe, visible and proportionate route for AI ideas to enter the organisation, be assessed, governed, evidenced and reviewed.

This full-day workshop helps participants design that route. Using the Transformation Motion model, we will focus on Get Started Safely and work through the Make AI Adoption Safe journey. Participants will define practical outputs for their organisation, including an AI use-case front door, risk sizing criteria, proportionate control floor, living governance rhythm, evidence chain and response path.

The workshop is designed to complement technology-specific sessions on Copilot, Agent 365 and Microsoft platform capabilities by helping participants answer the organisational question that sits around them: how do we make AI adoption safe enough to scale?
