About The Engine Rooms
The Engine Rooms is a historic former railway engine shed located in the heart of Southampton's industrial quarter. Established in 1982, it was originally built to house steam engines for the South Wales Miners' Association and has since been transformed into a vibrant cultural venue. It is best known for hosting diverse events ranging from jazz festivals, comedy shows, and music concerts to community gatherings and exhibitions.
