Game on at South Street! Hop aboard the gaming van for video games and good times, with coffee and treats available in the café.

Gaming for the kids. Coffee or wine for you. 🎮☕🍷

Join us at South Street Coffee House every Monday from 5pm to 7pm, when the Urban Gamer gaming van arrives for an evening the kids—and the grown-ups—can look forward to.

The kids can head aboard the gaming van to enjoy their favourite games, while you settle into the coffee house with a freshly made coffee, a hot chocolate, espresso martini, or a Bailey's hot chocolate. Bring another parent along, have a catch-up and make it your weekly after-school get-together.

The van features multiple gaming screens, with Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch consoles on board. There’s a selection of games to choose from, including:

- Fortnite — for kids who love jumping into the action.

- Rocket League — fast-paced football with rocket-powered cars.

- EA SPORTS FC 26 — a chance to take those football rivalries onto the screen.

- Mario Kart 8 — racing, shells and plenty of “one more game!”

- Plus more titles available on board.

It’s a chance for the kids to enjoy gaming with friends, share a few laughs and have something fun to look forward to on a Monday evening. Whether their favourite thing is scoring goals, racing for first place or playing Fortnite, there’s plenty to get excited about.

For the adults, South Street offers a relaxed place to spend the evening too. Catch up over coffee, enjoy a glass of wine or treat yourself to something sweet while the kids enjoy their gaming session. You can come along with friends and their children, or make it some time out together after a busy school day.

We love bringing people together at South Street, and this is an evening with something for both generations: games for them, good drinks and conversation for you.
