About This Event

A guided birdwatching walk suitable for all abilities to celebrate the Great Coastal Birdwatch. Our Great Coastal Birdwatch is taking place from 17 October to 1 November 2026 to celebrate the return of our autumn migratory birds. Join us to for a gentle walk around with plenty of time to stop and observe the birds we spot and hear along the way. These walks are suitable for beginners and experienced birders alike. Well behaved dogs are welcome, but they must be kept on a lead to avoid disturbance. Meeting place - Queenborough Park, High Street, Queenborough ME11 5AA Time - 10:00 - 11:30am Parking - paid parking in the car park next to the park Facilities - There are public toilet facilities at this location - we also recommend popping into Bosuns cafe for post-walk refreshments Type of walk - Out and back on the pathway along the waters edge. Paths are fairly flat but can be slippery if it has been raining so suitable footwear is recommended. This is an accessible walk with plenty of seating opportunities and suitable for walking aids. It is free to attend our walks, but spaces are limited so please book your spot to avoid disappointment. Final confirmation and instructions will be emailed 24 hours before the walk.
