At age 10, Lettie had lost her parents, was battling severe hunger, and had to drop out of school...

Now we revisit her: an educated, healthy, working mother providing for her own family. Her story illustrates that education, nutrition, and the kindness of ordinary people can be the catalyst for lasting change that not only transforms one child’s life but impacts the lives of future generations.

Join us as Rotary District 1240 proudly partner with Mary's Meals for a special double billing of their new film 'Lettie' and their previous doc 'Child 31' where we are first introduced to the incredible Lettie.

The event will include snacks, refreshments and a chance to hear from Mary's Meals* guest speakers.

Doors 2pm, 2:30pm start time. Children must be over the age 10, and accompanied by an adult if under 16.

*Mary's Meals is a global school feeding charity, who currently provide meals for over 3 million children, in their place of education. Lettie was a recipient of these schools meals, which helped her through her childhood and she now works for Mary's Meals in Malawi. Mary's Meals started feeding just 200 children in Malawi in 2003, and now reaches 3 million children in 16 different countries all over the world.
