About This Event

An Archery Beginners Course consisting of three sessions is scheduled for 17 September 2026 at The Shenley Chapel in St Albans from 18:30. This course allows participants to join an archery club after completion with a fee of £89.00.

This is a Three Session Archery Beginners course. After this course you will be able to join Elswood Bowmen or another ArcheryGB Club.

This three session course will teach you how to shoot a recurve bow. You must attend all three sessions to be able to join Elswood Bowmen or another ArcheryGB Club. Sessions will be at 7.30pm on Thursdays 17th, 24th Sept and 1st October. Each session will run for 2 hours.

Attendees must be aged 10 and over. Under 18s must be accompanied by an Adult.

Please wear closed toe shoes, long close fitting sleeves and a belt to fasten your quiver to. We provide all equipment for Archery.

The course will be held in Shenley Chapel. Our indoor venue is unheated, please dress appropriately.

After the course you will be able to join Elswood Bowmen or another ArcheryGB affiliated club (subject to committee approval).
