Why it matters

Clothing waste has a significant environmental impact, and many items are discarded long before the end of their useful life.

In the UK alone, £140 million worth of clothes are thrown away each year, most of which are worn only 7 times or fewer before being discarded.

By swapping instead of buying new, we can keep clothes in circulation for longer, reduce waste and make more use of what already exists.

How it works 🧣

Bring up to 10 clean, good-quality items and swap them for something new to you.

We welcome:

Women’s and men’s clothing

Bags and belts

Near-new shoes

Please don’t bring children’s clothing, underwear or swimwear.

All items should be freshly cleaned and in a condition you’d be happy to give to a friend.

Timings ⏰

Drop off: 11:00–12:00

Shop the Swap: 12:00–14:00

This is a drop-and-swap event, so you’ll need to bring items to take part.

Any clothing left at the end of the event will be donated to local charities or recycled.
