Free Ormskirk networking launch with Shout Network and guest speaker Nicola Roberts, Lancashire Skills Hub.

New connections. New opportunities.

A new Shout Network group for Ormskirk!

Something exciting is coming to the West Lancashire business community. Join us on Tuesday 17 November 2026, from 9:30am to 11:30am at Ormskirk Cricket Club, as we launch our brand-new Ormskirk business networking group.

Our first event is free to attend, giving you the opportunity to meet local business people, introduce your business and discover how Shout Network can help you build valuable relationships.

We’ll also welcome Nicola Roberts from the Lancashire Skills Hub, who will share an update on Connect to Work in Lancashire and explain how the programme can support employers.

With members already confirming their spaces before launch, there’s real momentum behind our newest group — and we’d love you to be part of it.

Guest presentation: Connect to Work in Lancashire

Recruiting, supporting and retaining the right people matters to businesses of every size.

At our first meeting, Nicola Roberts from the Lancashire Skills Hub will provide an update on Connect to Work in Lancashire, including progress to date and an overview of how the programme can support employers.

Her presentation will cover the employer offer and some of the support available around:

Recruitment.

Retention.

Inclusive employment.

Workforce wellbeing.

It’s an opportunity to learn more about the programme and explore support that could be relevant to your business and workforce.

Business networking in Ormskirk with a friendly welcome

Whether you’re an experienced networker or coming along for the first time, you’ll find a welcoming environment where conversations come naturally.

Shout Network brings business owners and professionals together to get to know one another, share knowledge, make introductions and explore opportunities to work together. You don’t need a polished sales pitch or an existing connection within the group.

If you’re looking for business networking in Ormskirk or West Lancashire, this is a great opportunity to discover a new local group from its very first meeting.

Why come along?

Meet business owners and professionals from different sectors.

Introduce your business and explain the people you would like to connect with.

Hear from the Lancashire Skills Hub about Connect to Work and employer support.

Explore opportunities for referrals, collaboration and local business support.

Find out how our single-sector networking groups work.

Build relationships within a brand-new group.

The Ormskirk launch marks the latest expansion of Shout Network’s North West business networking community, joining established groups across Lancashire and Merseyside.

One business sector. A space to make your own.

Shout Network groups operate a single-sector approach, with one membership space for each agreed business sector within a group.

Some members have already secured their places in our Ormskirk group, so certain sectors may already be taken.

Interested in visiting? Please register for free and Geoff will contact you to discuss your business sector and confirm your visit.

Your Eventbrite registration acknowledges your interest; it does not automatically confirm attendance or reserve a membership space.

If your sector is already represented in Ormskirk, Geoff can discuss a suitable alternative Shout Network group, subject to availability.
