This is now the 32nd year of the Ken Barclay 7 hills challenge - this year we've decided to run an off road version

This is the 32st Anniversary of this charity ride!

Meet outside Penzance Arcade on the Promenade for a 9.30am start - for this off road adventure. In the spirit of Ken this will be an off road ride - suitable for mountain bikes and confident gravel riders.

This is a Charity fundraising ride organised by the friends and family of the late Ken Barclay who was a well known cyclist in the Penzance area - he was known for his off road rides so we thought this year we would change the format slightly..

The last few years the weather in December has been less favourable for road cycling so we thought we'd go more Ken - and switch this event to an off road event.

The route will be around West Cornwall and will be 25-30 miles with a planned stop for cake - route will be confirmed but please be aware it's off road and in December.

This event is run by Penzance Wheelers which is a Cycling UK affiliated club - you are entering this at your own risk and understanding that the organisers have no liability over your safety while riding this event. We will do our best to warn you of any hazards on the route - once it has been published
