The Witches and Wizards Hat Making event will occur on 29 October 2026 at 10:00. Participants will create their own magic hats using various materials, suitable for children aged 5 and above.
Everyone needs their own magic hat in October half term, so here's your chance to make one with Sophie from Pop up Paintpot You'll build the basic shape from cardboard, then cover and decorate it using papier mâché, coloured papers, fabric scraps and whatever else you fancy. You can experiment with the shape, colour, texture and decoration to make something completely your own. There will be plenty of making, experimenting and a reasonable amount of mess. This is a family session so please do accompany your young magic person and help them build the best hat ever. Free tea and coffee is available and no tidying up needed! Suitable for children aged 5+.
