Liz Copper’s BackStamp — commended in The Stoke Rep Theatre Malcolm Rushton Prize For Playwriting — is set in a Stoke‑on‑Trent pottery in 1997. This warm, moving play follows Tricia, a skilled decorator facing upheaval at work and at home. As new management threatens the factory’s future, Tricia must choose between loyalty to her colleagues and the possibility of a fresh start. With humour, friendship and resilience at its core, the play celebrates the people behind a proud local industry.

With music by Paul Walker & Karen Pfeiffer and Rossignol.
