We’re taking fundraising to new heights! Join us to abseil off the iconic Alton Towers ruins in the dark, all to protect our amazing oceans and the incredible creatures that call them home.
Every penny raised will go to SEA LIFE TRUST, helping to protect marine wildlife, care for rescued animals, and safeguard our seas for future generations.

By registering your place you are acknowledging and agreeing to the below. Consent forms will be completed on site during a health and safety briefing.
Places are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
The £75 registration fee is non refundable and participants must try and raise £300 miniumum for SEA LIFE TRUST via the Just Giving page shared with you after registration.
All participants must be 18 years of age or older, you may be required to show proof of age.
The abseil is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant.
Some abseils will take place during sunset.
Anyone you wish to bring along to watch must purchase a spectator ticket which is a donation to SEA LIFE TRUST.
This event may not be suitable for all due to the physical requirements. Participants must be fully ambulant. Participants must be fully secured into a full-body harness. This may not be possible for some guests with a torso measurement more than 128cm or thigh measurement approaching 75cm.
In order to abseil from the towers you must be confident in climbing several flights of stairs to get to the launch area.
Photographers will be on site to capture your abseil. Phones or cameras must be securely tethered or stored in a zipped pocket at your own risk.
Please ensure you and your spectators arrive at Alton Towers before park closure (3.30pm). Anyone who is late may be refused entry and be unable to perform their abseil. You are welcome to enjoy the park until meeting at the bottom of the stained glass window at 5pm.
We reserve the right to postpone or reschedule for any reason, including but not limited to poor weather conditions.
You must wear appropriate footwear; we cannot allow heeled shoes or sandals.
Participants must be able to walk unaided, including up and down steep stairs.
Participants found to be intoxicated will not be allowed to participate in the abseil.
Participants should be free of medical conditions, including:
o Heart disease/chest pain
o Raised blood pressure
o Epilepsy, fits, blackouts
o Fear of heights/vertigo
o Giddiness/difficulty with balance
o Impaired limb function
o Alcohol or drug dependence
o Psychiatric illness/counselling
o Diabetes
o Asthma or impairment of breathing
o Claustrophobia
o Skin problems
o Eyesight problems not corrected by glasses or contact lenses
o Regular medication impairing attention or consciousness
· If a participant suffers from any of the above-mentioned medical conditions they will not be allowed to climb unless a Doctor’s note is provided stating the participant's fitness to climb.
Participants who weigh over 130kg (including clothes) must contact Gage Spencer prior to booking, in order that appropriate checks can be made to ensure that the participant will be able to participate in the abseil safely.
We reserve the right to weigh candidates before allowing participation.
Participants should be physically able to perform the abseil considering their strength, agility and co-ordination. There will be pressure on the abdomen and legs especially.
We reserve the right to exclude a participant on the grounds of weight/health/fitness, or general unsafe attitude towards health and safety.
