We've been asked numerous times to put a party on showcasing the tracks that were the musical foundations of Stokes biggest night of the last 20 years. The Move started from humble beginnings from the embers of Satchmos to become a nationally recognized event that bought many of the world's biggest DJs to Stoke On Trent.

'Deep House' as it was being branded was making a huge comeback. Eventually morphing into 'tech house' as many called it, the music had many of the elements that made the scene so vibrant and exciting, just how it had been previously to the 2008 collapse of UK clubbing. Elements of disco, funky house, US House & Garage, techno, electro was all thrown into the melting pot and Djs & producers alike such as Jamie Jones & Seth Troxler packaged it all up and it blew up once again to become a worldwide phenomenon. Over the years, artists such as Patrick Topping, Skream, Michael Bibi, Darius Syrossian, The Martinez Brothers were just a few to blow up globally, all with their own take on the new wave of house music.
