About This Event

The Adult Learn to Ride or Cycle Confidence session will be held on 2 September 2026 at Thompson Park in Sunderland. This free workshop takes place in the cycling skills area located near the park's main slide.

Come join us to begin your cycling adventure.

With thanks to The National Lottery Awards for All we are please to offer FREE Adult Learn to Ride/Cycle Confidence sessions.

The Adult Learn to Ride/Cycle Confidence class is designed to give adults, who are either new to cycling or have not cycled in a long time, the opportunity to ‘refresh’ their knowledge, skills and importantly confidence in cycling. Our friendly instructors will help get you going or help to get your confidence back.

Each session will be tailored to participants ability and needs. In our fleet of bikes, we have cycles suitable for all ages, and abilities, however, participants are encouraged to bring their own bikes where possible, as it will help their future and continued development.
