This is a beginners workshop to create a beautiful hand-painted 10inch wooden mandala. The workshop is spread over 2 x 3-hour sessions on consecutive Saturday's - 7 and 14th November.The workshop will focus on:

*Setting an intention for yourself and your mandala practice

* creating a mono-chromatic colour palette of your choice

* preparing your wooden round, finding the centre and marking your guidelines

*painting your mandala under guidance but using your own designs and creativity over the 2 days

* finishing and varnishing your completed piece.In mandalas, we are not looking for perfection with your dots and brushstrokes, we are looking for symmetry and colour. If you want perfection then buy a piece of AI created or printed images - we are looking for a piece created with love and intention, through creativity and enjoyment. So with this in mind, you dont need to be artistic or experienced you just need to come along and learn a new skill.The workshop price includes both sessions, all of your materials including the wooden round and paints, practice sheets, dotting tools (which you can take home at the end of the workshop), refreshments and guidance.The cost of the workshop is £60 (that works out at £30 per session).
