Sam Shields is a singer-songwriter from Northumberland. In the past couple of years he has performed at an array of venues across the North East and beyond - most notably opening for Frank Turner at NX in April 2025 and opening for Ashley Campbell in November 2025.

Last year’s EP ‘Farewell & Godspeed’ was described by Narc magazine as ‘Sincere and unpretentious, it’s a troubadour holding his songs to the light, letting you see straight through them.’

To mark the release of his new EP ‘The Night of the Fire’ he has reassembled his group The Regiment for a short run of dates across the North in October and November.
