Complete beginners take on eight weeks of free professional boxing training and then box an evenly matched opponent over three rounds, in 16oz gloves and head guards, at a fully regulated event in front of friends and family — raising money for charity along the way. Free training starts the week of Monday 5th October 2026 at Downhill Primary School, 7C High Street, Spennymoor, DL16 6AG. Sign-ups for this event come from Durham, Sunderland.
