Join us in the magical forests of Gower for a special Autumn Equinox celebration of movement, music, nature and connection.

Held within the sacred space of the Caswell Roundhouse, with a fire burning at its heart, we’ll gather to honour the changing of the seasons through ecstatic dance, ceremony, nourishing food and live music.

As summer begins to soften and the nights grow longer, this is an invitation to slow down, release what no longer serves us, and reconnect with the wisdom of nature and our own inner landscapes.

✨ What to Expect

🎧 Ecstatic Dance with DJ Jazzy Be

A soulful, bass-rich and eclectic musical journey designed to awaken the body and invite freedom, playfulness and deep embodiment.

We’ll begin with a guided somatic warm-up before moving into a free-form dance journey through different rhythms, energies and emotions. The dance will gradually land in stillness and integration, ending with a closing circle.

🔥 Sacred Fire

The Roundhouse fire will keep us warm and connected throughout the gathering, creating a beautiful space to pause, reflect and share.

🥣 Community Soup

After the dance, we’ll gather around the fire and share a nourishing community soup together. Vegan and gluten free.

🪕 Live Fireside Concert with Mari Mathias

The evening will culminate in an intimate concert from acclaimed Welsh/Celtic songstress Mari Mathias, whose music weaves together language, land, memory and myth.

Singing in one of Europe's oldest living languages, Mari creates atmospheric contemporary folk music rooted deeply in the landscapes and cultural heritage of Cymru.

Her music feels ancient yet fresh, mystical yet grounded — the perfect soundtrack for an evening beneath the trees and around the fire.

🌀 What is Ecstatic Dance?

Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement practice offering space for embodied expression, freedom and inner exploration.

There is no choreography and no experience necessary. You are invited to move in whatever way feels authentic to you.

Our simple guidelines help create a safe and inclusive space:

Dance barefoot and connect with the earth

Dance without talking, allowing the body to communicate

Dance sober, no alcohol or recreational drugs

Leave technology behind and stay present

Respect your own boundaries and those of others

If you're new to Ecstatic Dance or nervous about dancing sober, you are very welcome. Our community is friendly, inclusive and non-judgemental, and every dance is co-created by the people who show up.

🎧 DJ Jazzy Be

Raised on the wild lands of Gower, DJ Jazzy Be has always used movement and music as a way of connecting with the land.

Since 2022, she has been creating dance ceremonies across Gower's beaches, castles, cliffs and forests, as well as sharing her music with ecstatic dance communities and festivals across Wales, UK and Europe.

Rooted in Welsh spirit, sensuality and embodied freedom, her sets invite you to reconnect with your untamed, authentic self.

Expect spicy, sensual, bass-rich and soul-stirring sounds — where the silly meets the sacred and the dance floor becomes a place to come alive.

🪕 Mari Mathias

Mari Mathias is a contemporary Welsh/Celtic folk artist creating bold, immersive music inspired by land, memory, myth and language.

Mari returns with her second album, CYFARWYDD, taking listeners on a journey through the wild coastlines, mountains and ancient landscapes of Cymru.

"Answering to a higher calling, she preserves her rich cultural inheritance through transforming traditional melodies, collected from the wilds of west coast of Cymru , into immersive, multi-dimensional modern anthems that feel both ancient and strikingly new.
