Our Music and Movement sessions, feature body percussion, drumming, rhythm based games, drum fit, musical craft and refreshments

Music and Movement Family drumming sessions with One Heart Drummers, is our new provision for this summer season. The sessions feature, body percussion and movement, community drumming, rhythm based games, a drum fit play along activity, musical crafts to take home and refreshments.

Each session lasts around 1 1/2 hours and all equipment is provided along with additional aids and at least 2 session facilitators to make sure everyone can get involved. We do provide some ear defenders to use in the session for anyone with ear sensitivity, but we aim to make sure the sessions are not loud throughout.

The sessions are aimed at being fun, interactive and accessible so all the family can get involved together and no previous experience is needed.

Each session is all age inclusive so even very young ones will get something out of the session. These sessions are only for families with children under the age of 18, but grandparents/carers are welcome also.

Ideal age range is from 4-14, but all ages are welcome.

When you book a space you are booking for each person attending so you will need a ticket for both the adult and the children they are with. We have drums enough for everyone!
