Join Guinevere Clark for a poetry workshop this National Poetry Day - let’s get creative together! Explore the poem you want to write!

Poetry Workshop with Guinevere Clark on National Poetry Day

Come along to Urban HQ on National Poetry Day for a fun and inspiring in-person workshop.

Whether you're a seasoned poet or just curious, this is your chance to dive into the world of words, share your voice, and connect with fellow poetry lovers. Get ready to spark your creativity and celebrate National Poetry Day in style!

This is a special workshop exploring the poem you want to write - so a poem that's half done, that keeps challenging you, that feels too risky, too safe, too old, too new, too political etc... a poem that never made it out of notebook or the last workshop, is one word or turned out too long! Either way, this is a poem that just won't stop calling to you.

Or maybe you have an image, story or feeling that you can't find the words for.

Is there a better day to tackle it?

Guinevere will guide you through an exciting 3 step formula to ignite your poetry and cover a range of exercises. You'll have writing time and chances to share work.

Please bring a poem that has become your nemesis and make it the poem that you want to write and is written!

It's also fine to bring a blank page!

Arrivals welcome from 6.15pm to start at 6.30pm.
