The workshop on 23 October 2026 at Bistrot Pierre in Mumbles will explore common nutrition myths, including topics such as cortisol, supplements, and artificial sweeteners. This event is free to attend.

A free, straightforward workshop exploring common nutrition myths around cortisol, supplements, artificial sweeteners and more.

There is a huge amount of conflicting nutrition advice online, making it difficult to know what to believe.

In this free workshop, Hayley Everarad, MNU Certified Nutritionist and Biomedical Science graduate, will take a straightforward, evidence-based look at some of today’s most common nutrition myths.

We’ll explore claims and questions surrounding:

Cortisol and whether it is really preventing you from losing weight

Supplements and whether you need them for better health

Artificial sweeteners and whether they are harmful

Common food and nutrition claims shared on social media

What the scientific evidence actually tells us

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.

The session is designed to give you clear, practical information without fearmongering, complicated science or unrealistic promises.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is suitable for adults who:

Feel confused by conflicting nutrition advice

Want to make more informed food choices

Regularly see nutrition claims on social media and don’t know what to believe

Are interested in improving their health through realistic, evidence-based nutrition

No previous nutrition knowledge is needed.

About your host

Hayley Everarad is an MNU Certified Nutritionist with a BSc in Biomedical Science and the founder of Nutrition by Hayley.

She provides clear, evidence-based nutrition support, helping people make realistic changes without unnecessary restriction, confusing rules or nutrition hype.

This is a free event, but places are limited to 20. Please book a ticket in advance to secure your place.
