After 15 years, more than 900 shows across 26 countries and international success as singer and guitarist with Zebrahead , Matty Lewis is back — and this time he's launching something entirely new.

ROCKETSUIT ROGUE is Lewis' new guitar-driven punk rock project: huge hooks, soaring melodies, massive choruses and the sort of songs that sound like they were built to be played very, very loud.

Their debut album Hello, Apocalypse! arrived in August 2026, marking Lewis' return to songwriting after stepping away from Zebrahead in 2021. Produced by Cameron Webb (Pennywise, Motörhead, NOFX) , the record takes the energy and melodic instinct Lewis built over years of touring the world and throws it into a new universe of its own.

Musically, it's punk rock with the choruses turned all the way up. Beneath that, Hello, Apocalypse! tackles struggle, survival, anxiety, relationships and trying to find some meaning while everything around you appears to be falling apart — all wrapped inside an aesthetic inspired by 1950s sci-fi, comic books and end-of-the-world cinema .

And this isn't a nostalgia tour.

Lewis returned to songwriting in 2025 with a renewed sense of purpose, making Rocketsuit Rogue both a continuation of what came before and the beginning of something completely new. The result is a band designed for sweaty clubs, festival stages and audiences screaming those choruses straight back at them.

Now, as part of Rocketsuit Rogue's first ever UK shows , Matty Lewis returns to one of the countries he toured most extensively during his Zebrahead years — including a stop right here in Swansea. Lewis has described the UK as particularly special to him, with his previous UK appearance coming on Zebrahead's 2020 run with Sum 41.
