The Equinox Omniloop is a 3D Time Trial that will take place at Cotswold Lakes in Swindon on 20 March 2027, with prices ranging from £85 to £125.
Confront the elements and experience the duality of the equinox in our pioneering 3D Time Trial.
At any given moment, it feels like we’re standing still. But in reality, we are in constant motion, traveling through space at unimaginable speeds. The Earth spins on its axis, orbits the Sun, and our solar system itself moves through the galaxy. The OmniLoop takes inspiration from these cosmic orbits, pushing riders to embrace their own momentum in a revolutionary format that defies convention.
The Spring Equinox OmniLoop is a 24-hour, 3D Time Trial - an endurance trial where distance takes a backseat to time and points. Riders will have a full day to ride as far as they can and accumulate as many points as possible, navigating through three unique loops in the heart of the Cotswolds, a region known for its blend of beautiful vistas, pretty villages and challenging climbs.
Each loop mirrors one of the great cosmic cycles that govern our universe. The short loop is smooth and flat, a nod to the Earth’s daily rotation. The medium loop is longer and more undulating, representing our planet’s journey around the Sun. The final and most demanding loop (long, hilly, and relentless) symbolises the vast sweep of our solar system orbiting the galaxy. Riders will earn 1 point for completing the short loop, with additional points awarded for the second and third loops based on their increasing difficulty. After each loop, riders can choose their next challenge, strategically balancing speed and endurance with the time of day and elemental conditions to maximise their points total.
Set against the backdrop of the Spring Equinox, where day and night stand in perfect balance, the OmniLoop offers riders a chance to test themselves at a time when nature itself is in transition. The rolling hills and valleys of the Cotswolds provide the perfect landscape for this dynamic challenge, blending fast flats with gruelling climbs in a trial that celebrates both the rhythms of the cosmos and the limits of human endurance.
The Equinox OmniLoop is not just a time trial - it’s a challenge to your perception of movement and time. Will you conquer the loops and bank the points, or will the relentless passage of time outpace you?
