On 10 October 2026, FearFree is hosting a Firewalk in Devizes, an unforgettable challenge where participants will walk across hot coals to stand alongside survivors of domestic abuse, stalking and sexual violence. Every day, people in our communities are living with fear; at home, online, or in relationships where they should feel safe. FearFree supports those affected to find safety, rebuild their lives, and move forward with confidence. The courage it takes to seek help or leave an abusive situation is extraordinary. By supporting this challenge, you’re helping make that journey possible for others. Cost to take part We’re asking for an entry fee of £20 for individuals or £70 for a team of four. We ask that each person aims to raise £95 from sponsorship; this will help cover the costs of putting on the event. Pre-Booking: Due to a limited number of spaces being available on each event it is necessary for you to pre-book your walk. Duration: You should arrive about 30 mins prior to the event (this will be advised the week before your experience) and allow between two hours for your walk. This is to allow for registration and all safety checks. What to Wear / Equipment: Dress in comfortable, no flammable casual clothes (cotton ideal). Group Size / Spectators: You are welcome to bring spectators free of charge to watch you walk. Weather: The event will take place no matter what the weather.
