Make a small lantern for the Father Christmas Parade The Father Christmas Parade will feature lanterns again this year, so there are lantern making workshops with City of Lights artists, at the Hall for Cornwall on Saturday 28 November. The workshops will involve making a small lantern inspired Dick Whittington & His Mousehole Cat. Once you have made your lantern, you will be invited to join The Father Christmas Parade and carry your lantern as part of the procession. The lantern workshop is suitable for 8+ years. All children and young people under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
