About This Event

The inaugural ADHD Easy Target event, organized by ADHDAF+ Charity, invites ADHD women and Neurodiverse Black and Other People of Colour (NBI) folk to an engaging exhibition at Nostell National Trust on September 6th. This event aims to empower its attendees in a supportive setting, offering free admission amidst stunning scenery.

ADHD Women and NBI Folk are invited to the first unique ADHD event to remove the target society places on our community in stunning scenery

From the Media, to the Workplace; even in our homes and social spaces -Healthcare, Finances, Dating, Addiction, and more...The target isn't something we're creating -it’s something society places on us through ableism and exploitation.

It’s time to remove the target TOGETHER at this EMPOWERING, Educational and Entertaining Event...

Witnessing the empowerment of bringing ADHD AF Podcast listeners together at three live (and ridiculous) ADHD awareness raising tours inspired Host: Laura Mears-Reynolds to found ADHDAF+ Charity - which facilitates free in-person ADHD Adult Peer Support Groups in Scotland, England and Wales.

ADHD Easy Target is the first Live Event Series of ADHDAF+ Charity. Much like the ADHD AF Podcast tours, this charity event will have a multitude of guest speakers delivering ADHD information and validation in unique and engaging ways, whilst bringing ADHD Women and NBI folk together to make peer support connections.

This over 18s only event is FREE because it is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and brought to you in collaboration with The National Trust, who have gifted ADHDAF+ free use of the venue.

You are invited to an ADHD Event like no other in the gorgeous grounds of Nostell - a Georgian House set in woodlands in Wakefiel, West Yorkshire.

The Event takes place in the Riding School, Coach House, on the Mansion Vista and surrounding woodland - however you can also book tickets to go inside the House and Gardens separately if you wish.

Speakers include:

- Womens Health Specialist, Author and NHS GP:

Doctor Helen Wall

(BBC Breakfast / BBC Morning Live)

You can listen to Helen on the podcast HERE

And MANY MORE to be announced...

The event will be Hosted by late discovered ADHDer turned ADHDAF+ Charity Founder and ADHD AF Podcast Host:

Laura Mears-Reynolds

Alongside all of the unique talks and workshops from experts in their field - there are multiple Movement Breaks including:

- Woodland walks with 'Hike Squad' Queen Lu in Lu Land

- Vogue dance workshop with Her House

- Yoga for ADHD with Kim Pierpoint

(and more to be announced)

Plus several sensory spaces and a Craft Corner at this trailblazing and radical ADHD Symposium.

ADHDAF+ Charity is 'about us, by us, for us.'

We are informed by the community we serve, and will therefore be asking for attendee feedback on the day to help us create future events and support groups.

...And to carry on the 'Leopard Print Army' tradition of the podcast which inspired the creation of ADHDAF+ Charity - come as you are, but Leopard Print clothing encouraged! :)

IMPORTANT - Please note:
