Get ready for another brilliant night of laughter, connection and conversation as Suicide Sucks CIC brings back Stand Up to Suicide.

Stand Up to Suicide is a comedy night with a difference. We believe we can talk about the difficult stuff without every conversation having to feel heavy. Sometimes laughter helps us connect, opens the door to conversations and reminds us that even through some of life's darkest moments, there can still be hope.

We’ll also be joined by the fabulous Northern Funny Mummy, bringing her hilarious take on life to the Stand Up to Suicide stage.

Alongside the comedy, two guests from the Suicide Sucks podcast will take to the stage to share their own lived experiences.

These aren't polished motivational speeches. They're real stories from real people who have experienced some incredibly difficult times and are still here to tell the tale.

Because that's what Suicide Sucks is all about – talking about suicide, breaking down stigma and showing people that there can be another chapter.

Proceeds from the evening will support the work of Suicide Sucks CIC, helping us continue creating opportunities for conversations around suicide, sharing lived experiences and developing suicide-awareness and prevention projects within our communities.

A Note About the Content

Stand Up to Suicide aims to raise awareness and spark important conversations about suicide and mental health through comedy and lived experience.

Some of the subjects discussed during the evening may include sensitive or potentially triggering material relating to suicide, mental health struggles and personal experiences.

If at any point you find the content difficult, you're welcome to step outside, take a break or speak to somebody you are attending with. Please look after yourself in whatever way you need to during the evening. Papyrus and The Samaritans will be at the event to offer support.

Let's laugh together, talk about the stuff we don't talk about enough, and stand together against suicide.
