16 Piece Big Band with guest vocalist Joe Medlock, singing classic big band charts!

We return to our monthly residency at Swillington and have lots of great music for you and room for dancing.

Joe Medlock is a fantastic male singer with years of experience fronting bands, performing leads in musical theatre and performing at live events as a solo act.

Joe performs for several function bands "Ska House" & "Indigo" and also has performed in theatre, most recently playing "Toby" in Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra's performance of Sweeney Todd. He also played the likes of "Tick" in Priscilla Queen of the Desert. "Emmett Forrest" in Legally Blonde and "Angel" in RENT.

The Northern Swing Orchestra play a wide variety of music, varying from 1940s, the bluesy swing of Count Basie and his Orchestra, to modern up tempo funk and Latin music, as well as all the classic big band favorites.
