Wakefield Freelance Collective

Join us in person at the Wakefield Freelance Collective, a relaxed monthly meetup welcoming creatives, freelancers and small business owners run by local freelancers!

Build your network, find inspiration, bounce ideas and co-work with like-minded folks every month from across the region. (Friends are welcome - and don't worry if you're not from/in Wakefield!)

The event has no set agenda so please feel free to drop in and out as you feel comfortable. Stay for 20 minutes, an hour, or the whole session!

This session is a social and a co-working session, so feel free to bring your laptops/ipads/sketchbooks if you would like to do some work during the session. The upstairs room where the session is held is relatively quiet for those sensitive to noise, but feel free to bring headphones too!

10.30am - 2.30pm - Feel free to drop in and out of the session at any time between these hours!

Marmalade on the Square, Wakefield ( Upstairs - 2nd Floor)

Find us upstairs (Look for the yellow banner!) There's no need to check in with your ticket, just sit down and join!

Please note this venue is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible to the second floor where the event will be held, we apologise for any inconvenience.

FOOD & DRINK

No food or drink is included. If you would like to grab a drink or food however, the Venue has a bar serving hot drinks, soft drinks and food/snacks.

TRANSPORT & PARKING

Marmalade on the Square is in central Wakefield. There are a number of paid parking options within a 5-10 minute walk or two central train stations to the city centre (Wakefield Westgate / Wakefield Kirkgate), as well as bus routes to the city centre.
