Halton Safeguarding Children Partnership Annual Learning Event 2026
What Will You Do Differently on Monday Morning?
The Halton Safeguarding Children Partnership Learning into Practice Event 2026 is an opportunity for practitioners, managers and leaders from across the workforce to come together, reflect on learning, and consider how that learning can be translated into meaningful action.
Drawing on themes identified through local reflective reviews, multi-agency learning reviews, audits and previous learning events, this year's event will focus on one fundamental question:
What will you do differently on Monday morning as a result of attending?
Too often, valuable learning is discussed, shared and understood, but not always embedded into day-to-day practice. This event aims to bridge that gap by encouraging participants to reflect on their own role, challenge professional curiosity, and identify practical changes that can strengthen safeguarding arrangements and improve outcomes for children, young people and families.
Through shared learning, discussion and real-life examples, delegates will explore recurring themes, understand what good practice looks like, and consider how small changes in professional practice can make a significant difference to the lives of children and families.
This is not simply an event about learning lessons. It is about taking those lessons forward and turning them into action.
Whether you work directly with children and families or provide strategic leadership, you will leave with greater insight, increased confidence and a commitment to making at least one positive change in your practice.
