A Día de los Muertos afternoon for kids at Willow & Ram, learn about the culture from Mar, face painting, sugar skull decorating and more!

Half term. Halloween weekend. But we're doing something a little different this year.

Come down to Willow & Ram for Little Marigolds, an afternoon of stories, colour and craft for the whole family. Día de los Muertos is a celebration of the people we love, marked with marigolds, candles, music and food. It isn't spooky at all, and we'd love your little ones to see that for themselves.

What's on

A talk from Mar. Mar is Mexican and grew up with Día de los Muertos as part of family life. She'll give a short, child-friendly talk on what the day means and why it's a celebration. It's a lovely chance to hear the real story from someone who has lived it.

Face painting. Halloween or Día de los Muertos designs, your little one's choice. Nobody is dressed wrong here.

Sugar skull craft. Decorate your own sugar skull and take it home.

Colouring and music. Running all afternoon
