"Prior Works" – An anthology by Leamington Writers’ Club

Brought to fruition by the feverish scribblings of Leamington Writers’ Club, Prior Works is an anthology of 13 stories, essays and poems inspired by the creatively fertile soil of Leamington Spa. Every page was written and curated from the basement of our beloved Temperance, which now hosts the launch party for our first issue.

About the book

Prior Works contains stories long and short, in-depth observations of the human condition, absurd little jokes, chronicles of broken hearts and snippets of dark wit. The anthology has been captured without restrictions on genre or perspective, welcoming contributors from a variety of backgrounds and diverse interests.

In a world where content is fed to the mind in a dizzying algorithm of self-reinforcement, grant yourself the reprieve of spending an evening with the analogue. Feel paper turn between your fingers and read human stories written by local writers.
