This summer, 40+ Coventry creatives walked into a room with stories to tell. On Wednesday 23rd September, we're bringing those stories to Leamington.

City That Shaped Us is a creative project that brought together people from all walks of life across music, photography and film. No experience needed, just a story worth telling. This evening is a chance to see what they made and hear directly from the people who made it.

There'll be a screening of the behind the scenes documentary, a premiere of the short film created by the film strand, and a listening experience to hear the original music made by the music group. This will be followed by a panel conversation with participants, some of the people who actually took part, with an opportunity for Q&A from the audience. We'll close the evening with live performances and networking, with the photography strand's work on screen throughout.

This isn't the usual panel of funders and organisations talking about what a project did for people. It's the people themselves, in their own words.

Free entry. All welcome.

A few things to know before you arrive:

🎟️ Tickets will be checked on the door. Showing digitally is fine.

📸 Photo and video will be taken throughout the event for promotional purposes. If you'd prefer not to be captured, just let a member of the team know when you arrive.

♿ The Urban Garden at 1 Mill Street is an accessible venue.
