Alongside Warwick Repair Café, we're hosting our inaugural Warwick Fabric Swap! Bring along your unused fabric that no longer sparks joy, and take home something new and inspiring. Maybe even make some new crafty friends?

How it works

Declutter your fabric stash and set aside anything 1 metre or more that you no longer need – make some space for new fabrics that better suit the sewist you are now! (Feel free to bring along any unwanted patterns and/or haberdashery too. Make sure anything you bring is good quality, i.e. usable by others.)

Label your fabric remnants with length, fibre content (if known), and anything else that might be helpful!

Bring your remnants along any time from 9am (the earlier the better) - the Fabric Swap is taking place 10am-2pm in the same room as the sewing repairs!

Browse what others have brought and take home anything you know you can use.

Connect with other local sewists of all types - those of us who do sewing repairs for Warwick Repair Cafe are always keen to talk sewing with anyone we meet!

About Warwick Repair Café

The aim of the Warwick Repair Café is to encourage members of the public to bring their damaged or broken items for repair. Typical items include electrical goods, technology, ornaments, bicycles for basic maintenance & guidance, jewellery and more.

Skilled volunteers fix broken items for free, with a high success rate!

10am - 2pm on the fourth Saturday of each month.

About the organiser

Jerica is a local mum who loves to make clothes and cares deeply about the environment. She volunteers most months at the Warwick Repair Cafe and hopes this new sub-event will help keep unwanted sewing supplies in rotation for longer (and maybe even make her some new sewing friends!).
