About This Event

Heritage Open Days will run on selected dates, providing free entry to Barrington Court in Wells. Visitors can explore the site's history and heritage during this period.

As part of Heritage Open Days, we invite you to enjoy free entry to Barrington Court from 14-18 September 2026. Discover information about the history of the two houses and estate. There are displays in the farm buildings and within the ground floor of Strode House. The gardens are open and will be transitioning from late summer to early autumn colour, and Beagles café will be open for refreshments. The National Trust gift shop and Book Barn will be open, and there are four independent workshops onsite (not NT - please check with individual workshops for opening times).

N.B. Court House remains closed due a long term restoration project.
