Please join us on 26 August 2026 for a relaxed networking evening of kayaking/paddleboarding, drinks, food, and great company at the Somerset Boat Centre, Maidenmead Moorings, Banklands, North Newton, Bridgwater TA7 0DQ.

Connect with fellow young professionals, business students and young business people in a fun and informal setting, with the choice between kayaks and paddleboards. Please note that while we cannot guarantee your choice of kayaking or paddleboarding, we will do our best to prioritise your preference.

Prefer to stay dry? We’re also offering cheaper tickets to join a scenic walk along the canal near the boat centre instead and still enjoy the networking. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the Boat Centre throughout the evening (costs not included in the ticket).

Ticket Options:

Option 1: £15 – kayaking (preference)

Option 2: £15 – paddle boarding (preference)

Option 3: £3 – walk

We kindly ask that 2 tickets are purchased per organisation to allow for a range of businesses to attend.

This is another fun event being organised and run by the Taunton Young Chamber, to allow for connections made at the previous events to strengthen and conversations to continue. Bring along work colleagues, classmates and friends and have an influence on what activities and events the group holds in the future, as well as the chance to feedback what your generation wants to see in the Taunton of the future.

The event is open to all and you don't need to have any association with Taunton Chamber.
