Hear from two pilgrims who walked the whole historic course of the Brue, over the August Bank Holiday weekend, ending at St Bridget's Brean

Over the weekend of the final summer Bank Holiday, at the end of August, BrueCREW Charity led its first "Brue Life" pilgrimage down the whole course of the Brue, from her source in the parish of Brewham, beneath Alfred’s Tower, down to the sea beneath Brean Down, along the historic Axe course (before the Glastonbury monks dug their fish pond at Meare)

We were wonderfully, and memorably, received on the evening of Monday 31st August, by Mother Robyn and her team at St Bridget's Church, Brean

On the the afternoon of Saturday 17th October, two of the "Brue Life" pilgrims, would like to share their reflections to date, alongside some history of the Brue, and her connection with St Bridget.

Hear from, and meet: Ewan Jones, Chair of BrueCREW Charity and Karuna Mahi, who lives beside the Brue near Glastonbury (and had little previous walking experience)

Together, these pilgrims, alongside a few other river friends, walked with the Brue, from her source to the sea, moving through the flowscape, its communities, and receiving experiences of how we are reconnecting with all of the life that our river supports.
