Join us for an interactive 90-minute Counselling Masterclass and discover what it's like to study BSc (Hons) Counselling at UCW!

Thinking about a career in counselling? Join us for an interactive 90-minute Counselling Masterclass and discover what it's like to study on the BSc (Hons) Counselling programme at University Centre Weston (UCW). The degree is a professional training course grounded in person-centred and pluralistic counselling practice, with a strong emphasis on personal development, professional practice, social justice, and real-world counselling skills.

During this taster session, you'll experience activities and discussions inspired by the course itself, giving you a flavour of how counselling is taught at degree level. You'll also learn more about the knowledge, skills, and self-awareness required to become an effective counsellor, and explore some of the contemporary issues that shape counselling practice today.

The session will conclude with an opportunity to ask questions about the degree, placements, career pathways, and what to expect from training as a counsellor. Whether you're considering applying for the programme or simply interested in learning more about the profession, this masterclass is a great opportunity to experience counsellor training first-hand.
