Christmas Jazz at Johnstown once again revisits festive songs and tunes with singer Imelda Kehoe and a superb trio: Scott Flanigan on piano, Kevin Lawlor on drums and Cillian Byrne on bass. Rooted in the spirit of Christmas, this annual Jazz at Johnstown concert celebrates the most famous, and some less known, recordings associated with traditional festive and jazz standards, songs which are given the deftest of jazz touches. At Jazz at Johnstown, we always like to breathe new life into these Christmas classics, and who better to do so than a vocalist who communicates effortlessly with her audience with languorous and sensuous singing: Imelda Kehoe. And what a trio of musicians: piano, bass and drums, the essential building block of jazz. Unmissable. So, you better watch out and not miss out, Imelda Kehoe is coming to town on Friday, December 11, at 8 p.m. Tickets: €25 for Non Members & €22.50 for IHT Members Venue: Johnstown Castle, Visitor Centre Get your tickets now and make this Christmas memorable with an evening of classic jazz. ***Doors open at 7:30pm***
