Nature through the senses is a guided walk at The Raven Nature Reserve in Wexford on September 13th 2026. The event, led by EG-splores, is restricted to attendees aged 18 and over.
A guided walk through Raven Point, Wexford, with EG-splores.
This is EG-splores' first ever event - a small pilot nature walk. Over 18s only.
Join for an hour-long walk through Raven Point's pine forest, where we'll slow down and experience the woodland through taste, smell, sight, hearing and touch. Expect a gentle pace, a few stops along the way, and plenty of space to notice things you'd normally walk straight past.
We'll finish up with tea and a chat for anyone who fancies sticking around (no pressure to rush off!)
Also, please don't worry about turning up alone, plenty of people will be coming solo and it's a friendly, easy group to slot into.
The walk covers roughly an hour on uneven forest terrain tree roots, sandy paths, some inclines so please make sure you're comfortable walking for that long over that kind of ground before booking.
What to bring: sturdy, weather-suitable footwear, a jacket or coat, layers, and suncream.
Irish weather being what it is, we could get all four seasons in one hour.
A note on safety: you're taking part at your own risk. If you have any medical conditions or concerns that might affect your ability to join, please get in touch before booking.
