A FREE 4-day Animation Club for young people aged 8-11 from St Helens who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals.

Got a young storyteller or budding animator at home? They’ll love our fun and creative 4-day Animation Club!

Join us for a fun, hands-on club where young people can bring their ideas to life through animation. Throughout the club, we'll be exploring LEGO stop-motion, digital animation, and paper animation! We will end the week with a premiere viewing where your young person can share what they've made with the class.

Every session kicks off with chill time (games, chats, and getting settled) before diving into the main activity of the day. We also make time to get outside, stretch our legs, and enjoy a tasty, healthy meal together.

Who can get involved?

This club is for young people aged 8-11 from St Helens who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals.

Limited places are also available for young people who are in receipt on a support plan via Early Help, Child in Need or Children We Look After, young people who have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP), young people who receive additional hours at school or young people who are an asylum seeker or refugee.

Monday 10th - Thursday 13th August, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm. (4-days)

How much does it cost?

This project is funded by St Helens Borough Council and the Department for Education for young people from St Helens who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals, therefore it is free to attend.

What equipment should I bring?

Digital Arts Box will bring all of the equipment needed to participate in this session.
